What I'm Loving | 5/6/2018
May is the sneakiest month — we're just putting along and suddenly here it is. I have a soft spot for Cinco de Mayo because a few years ago I took the best vacation with some of my friends over the holiday. While this year was a bit more low-key, we did find a nice patio and some marg deals to enjoy!
Here's what I'm loving lately:
Reading :: I'm still working on White Rage because it is heavy. Great, engaging nonfiction piece — there have just been a few times where I've had to set the book down to process what I've been reading.
Listening :: I've always loved Lana Del Rey, but I've been feeling it more than usual lately. I think it's this chilly/warm/sunny/overcast spring weather we've been having.
Spare Time :: The highlight of my week was definitely going to the SF MoMA! That's been on my "to do in SF" list for quite awhile. We got there right as they opened and left shortly before closing time—it is a huge museum. They have quite a good mix of art styles, and a wall with over 19,000 plants!
Style :: I found a rug! I was a little bit skeptical about the multi-colored print, but in person, it looks fantastic. Our couch is a light grey, so this is the perfect pop of color our living room needed.
